ITA Official Teacher is the person who has reached the standards of the traditional techniques and is certified by ITA (International Tsumami zaiku Association) .

Students who completed all three courses (Basic, Middle, and Advance Course) can apply for the teacher certification exam.

Path to become an Official Teacher

◆STEP 1   Take 3 courses (Basic, Middle, and Advanced Course of ITA) and zoom session feedback.


   ＊You can choose Online (video) courses or Face-to-face Courses in Tokyo
   ＊You will have the zoom session feedback from ITA Teacher after you finish each course.

◆STEP 2   Enroll in ITA Teacher's Certification Examination

◆STEP 3   Take the examination shown as below
  1. Technical review with photos
  2. Instructor's feedback

◆STEP 4     Zoom session with two instructors. (final evaluation)
      *Result will be announced in this session.

◆STEP 5   Pass the Examination!
   * You will receive a congratulation email with a profile form to fill in.
   * Your profile will be on the ITA website and Tsumami kanzashi website.

◆STEP 6   Join th ITA Certified Teacher Membership

◆STEP 7   Your Certification will be issued！

ITA Official Teacher`s Certification Evaluation Examination Procedure


1. Technical review with photos

 -Creation of specified items for technical review and your original Kanzashi. Above two pictures are their works for the technical review.

 -Take the specified photos and answer questions on our evaluation sheet and send them to school.

 -The evaluation sheet will be sent after the application

2. Instructor's feedback

 -The instructor will fill out an evaluation sheet and send it to you via email

-If there is any item on the evaluation sheet that requires resubmission,

  you are required to make it over again, take photos of it in the same way, and resend them to us.

The certification will be issued

 -Your certification with the serial number will be issued and be sent to you as PDF data.
